at first i thought that since it was supposed to be speed paint you just didnt finish his leg.. but i agree with light shine. there should be more disabled ponies. coincidentaly, both
anywho, now he needs a friend to work with or something ( i imagine he sleeps during the day..)
He does seem a tad... bunched up with his legs. I am not speaking of how he is resting, but rather the relationship between each leg and his body. Perhaps it is just a visual deception.
That is quite the long tale though. Especially for a stallion. Don't get me wrong, it looks very beautiful; I just imagine that length of tail on a mare, not a stallion.
And to end on a good note: You've captured a wonderful charm. You have an excellent mastery in your style. The lighting effects are superb.
To me, I see a symbol of youthful calm and peace. I do not know what life is like for him in society, but here... here in the calm of his work, he is happy.
And speaking of pony OCs...
